Chicone Ruritan Club

Fellowship - Goodwill - Community Service

The Chicone Ruritan Club has provided Vienna, Maryland and the surrounding communities in the North Dorchester area with community service since it was chartered by Ruritan National in May, 1982.

Annual projects include: North Dorchester High School scholarship grants, the North Dorchester Middle School patriotic essay contest, the Vienna Elementary School Just Say No Club, the Vienna Tri-City Little League team, support for area Volunteer Fire Companies and Emergency Medical Teams, and contributions and assistance to many other local organizations and individuals.

Our regular dinner meetings are held on the third Monday of each month at 7 PM, except during the months of May, August, and December when special events are scheduled for our membership. Our Officers and Directors meet on the second Monday of each month at 7:30 PM. Visitors are always welcome.
